Information
- Description
- On the piedmont slope of the Costières de Nîmes, Château Mourgues du Grès
lies nestled between vineyards, orchards and the heath. This rich terroir made up of
rounded stones (grès) in the south of the Rhône Valley, is nurtured by the influences
of the river and the Mediterranean Sea.
At the confluence of the Rhone, Camargue and Languedoc regions, the Rhône
varieties (Syrah, Grenache, Viognier) mix with those of the Languedoc (Carignan,
Cinsault) and those of nearby Provence. This alchemy makes the richness of our
blends.
Driven by my passion and always seeking precision, I wish to reveal the purity
of the fruit in our wines by combining richness and minerality. This is the original
balance for which our estate is renown since 1991.
With my wife Anne and the whole team, I invite you to discover and share our
wines.
