- Description
- In 1994, Sylvie and Yann JESTIN acquired the vines of Château VARI in the commune of Monbazillac. This family-run wine estate converted to organic farming in 2009.
They gave the estate a new lease of life, restructuring the vineyards and modernising the winery. The estate covers 24 hectares in the Monbazillac and Bergerac Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée area. The clay-limestone soils produce wines that are full of character, well-balanced and of great finesse. Trained as an oenologist, Yann takes great care in blending the wines to achieve the right balance. All the Domaine's wines have been certified organic since 2012.
