Information
- Description
- Clos Puy Arnaud is a 15.5 ha vineyard located in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Committed to an environmental approach, Thierry Valette took over this vineyard in 2000 to practice organic (2006) and biodynamic viticulture (Biodyvin in 2010, Demeter in 2014). The terroir is dominated by asteriated limestone, giving the finesse and minerality so characteristic of the wines produced here. The growing and winemaking practices are in line with the estate's philosophy: manual harvesting, gentle extractions, use of indigenous yeasts and the use of multiple containers for maturing (barrels, amphorae, cement vats).
