Information

Description
Jacques Frelin Vignobles is a family-owned company deeply rooted in tradition and innovation in organic viticulture.

It all started in the 1960s with Claude, the grandfather and winemaker, who decided to turn away from conventional chemical methods to adopt more natural practices in his vineyards.
This forward-thinking vision laid the foundation for a sustainable family commitment to land and nature.

In 1983, Jacques Frelin, Claude’s son-in-law, founded Jacques Frelin Vignobles. He was strongly determined to promote a more environmental friendly and respecting humanity world. From the very beginning, he chose to produce exclusively organic wines.

Today, the company is led by Carole Frelin, Jacques’s daughter and Claude’s granddaughter, surrounded by an all-female team of ten creative and dedicated collaborators.
Together, they perpetuate the family tradition while infusing a touch of modernity and innovation. These passionate women imagine and produce delightful wines, designed to be shared and enjoyed in conviviality and joy.

Respecting the environment remains at the heart of the concerns of Jacques Frelin Vignobles. They practice the cultivation of resistant grape varieties, develop agroforestry, and manage their vineyards according to biodynamic principles. From vine to bottle, they adopt ecological practices: using lightweight bottles, offering a range of washable and reusable bottles, using recycled paper labels, FSC-certified corks, and progressively eliminating plastic capsules.

Jacques Frelin Vignobles embodies a harmony between family tradition, the respect of environment, and innovation. Their wines, a reflection of this commitment will seduce all lovers of good organic wines.
