- Description
- The Domaine Charles Baur is a family estate located in Eguisheim. The vineyards are located in Eguisheim and in its near surroundings. Several vineyards are located on the Grands Crus Brand, Eichberg and Pfersigberg.
Our vineyards are organically cultivated. We are looking for moderate yields. All our grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. Our wines are exclusively produced with grapes harvested in our vineyards.
In the cellar, our aim is to produce wines which reveal the Charles Baur's style that means wines that speak of the terroir from which they originate and carry the hallmarks of great finesse, balance and flavours which are complex.
We produce a large range of Alsace wines including several Grands Crus and several Crémants d'Alsace. The wines that we suggest are organic certified according to the European Union regulations.
