Hall B1 - n°152
Information
- Description
- Initially neglected for several years, it was in 2013 that Philippe and Norge decided to take over the estate. The story of Château Bois D'Arlène is not one of family saga, but one of friendship.
A mythical site, steeped in history, on the plateau of the garrigues de l'étang, with the pond extending over the estate's land.
The estate covers 10 hectares, including 7 hectares of AOP Vacqueyras vines and 3 hectares of IGP Méditerranée or Vin de France, all certified organic.
This type of farming reflects a collective awareness of the importance of preserving soil life without the use of synthetic pesticides or herbicides.
It's an agronomic challenge, with all the risks that entails: lower yields, major investments during the conversion years; but it's worth it!
As for the winery, after many years of reflection, design and renovation, Philippe and Norge decided to combine technology and innovation.
The bunches of grapes are conveyed into the cellar from the top of the arena, while the winemaking operations are carried out by gravity thanks to an arm mounted on rails above the vat.”
