- Description
- Aquila del Torre is located in Savorgnano del Torre inside the Friuli Colli Orientali appellation. The estate is 18 hectares of terraced vineyards surrounded by the woodlands and developed on the so-called flysch soil. We are part of the FIVI association, the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers, producing wine artisanally way. The wines are organic certified since vintage 2013 and we introduced the biodynamic preparations in our vineyards. Biodynamic farming is followed as Alex Podolinsky guidelines since 2016. The natural and sustainable approach involves not just the vineyards, but also the cellar managing, especially fermenting with indigenous yeast and long aging on the fine lees before bottling.
