- Situated 12 km from Ericeira and 30 minutes north of Lisbon, Quinta de Sant’Ana benefits from a unique, coastal microclimate, producing white wines with vibrant acidity, intriguing salinity and an oceanic minerality, alongside elegant red wines with impressive aging potential. The Quinta cultivates a mixture of international, national and some very local varieties (like Ramisco!) with a focus always on quality over quantity. With the help of their Consultant António Maçanita, owners Ann and James Frost have completed the three years of conversion to organic wine production, with certification in 2018, and are already reaping the benefits of healthier soils and 11 hectares of organic vineyards. The Quinta also produces organic honey, vegetables and cut flowers. As a family business, Ann and James and their seven sons manage the estate with endless charm and character and the Quinta is therefore a popular destination for Wine Tastings, weddings and private or corporate events.
