Description: Situated on the foothills of the Cévennes, north of Montpellier, ancient arts and crafts have provided the warp and weft for the history of Domaine les Caizergues: viticulture first from the 11th century and then silk production during the heyday of sericulture in Languedoc.

Located at an altitude of more than 150 m, the vineyard benefits from a Mediterranean climate with significant thermal amplitudes combining heat, freshness and moderate rainfall. Most of a parcels of vines are situated around the ancient mas in the village of Brissac and there is an additional parcel in the Buèges valley, at the foot of the Séranne hills. The 33 hectares of vines are cultivated organically on very qualitative stony soils predominantly clay-limestone. The optimal maturation conditions allow us to create wines with elegant tannins and to preserve the freshness and quality of the aromas; they are all wonderfully expressive of their terroir.

The wines are available around four ranges, the names of which bear witness to the region's sericulture past :

Les Amoriers : AOP Terrasses du Larzac
Les Magnarelles : AOP Languedoc
Les Tisserands : IGP SAint-Guilhem-Le-Désert
Les Bobines : IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert

Since 2017 the estate has been owned by two British entrepreneurs who have engaged a team of French professionals to expertly manage the viticulture and the viniculture.
