- Located at the foot of the prestigious Dentelles de Montmirail in Sablet, the vines flourish on a 27 ha estate planted with several AOPs:
- 10 ha Vacqueyras
- 4 ha Rasteau
- 6 ha Sablet
- 6 ha Séguret
- 1 ha IGP
The estate was taken over in 2010 by Vasco Perdigao, supported by his wife Sonia, a former nurse who has now turned to the wine-making profession.
Vasco has practiced his craft and honed his skills with passion for many years in the renowned vineyards of the northern Côtes-du-Rhône. It was in the southern Rhône Valley, however, that he decided to settle down as a winemaker.
2024 marks a turning point for the domaine:
- Expansion and modernization of the winery to improve working conditions and optimize the quality of our wines during the winemaking, ageing and storage phases.
- New bottle labelling to stand out with a new identity
- Domaine Chamfort disappears to make way for Domaine LA PERDRIERE! The name echoes the family name “Perdigao”: partridge in Provençal and Portuguese. La Perdrière is the place where they find shelter.
The new name now refers to “OUR PLACE”, a renovated space known as “le logis des Perdigao”.
