Information
- Description
- Champagne H.BLIN (Cooperative of Vincelles) is a Union of Winegrowers, created in 1947, under the leadership of Henri BLIN and 28 other founding winegrowers. Its exceptional terroir around Vincelles is located in the heart of the Marne Valley (30 minutes west of Epernay and Reims). Its 120 hectares are mainly planted with Meunier (70%) but also with Chardonnay (16%) and Pinot Noir (14%). Champagne H.BLIN is recognized for its distinctive vintages, in particular around the emblematic grape variety of its terroir, Meunier. Between 450 and 500,000 bottles are sold each year, half of which is exported (28 countries) and the other half in France.
Champagne H.BLIN and its 118 wine growers have long opted for sustainable cultivation with a strong environmental approach (80% of the plots are classified VDC - Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne) and several hectares, since 2013, have obtained organic certification.
