Information
- Description
- Domaine des Bosquets in Gigondas has a wine-growing history dating back to 1376, with the first notarized documents mentioning vines. The current building was built in 1644 by Jean de Rivière. In 1861, Eugène Raspail contributed to the quality of the terroir. In 1961, Gabriel Meffre modernized the estate, expanded by Sylvette and Laurent in 1995 with a new wine cellar. Since 2010, Julien Bréchet has continued development by focusing on plot diversity and autonomy. The philosophy of Domaine des Bosquets, managed by Julien Bréchet, is based on experience, honesty and the expression of the terroir. The estate favors a minimalist approach ("Less is more") and adopts organic and biodynamic methods to produce authentic wines. The estate specializes in plots, with varied specificities, allowing the unique terroir of each plot to be fully expressed, thus enriching the diversity and quality of the wines produced.
