Description: Family-run company from Friuli Venezia Giulia with 17 hectars of vines and producing about 80.000 bottles. In 1994 generational transition from grandfather Rico to nephew, Daniele. For the past 29 years the company has been using organic practices and 25 years ago we started bottling the wine ourselves. In 2005 we started the collaboration with the oenologist Natale Favretto, who also works for Joško Gravner, In 2010 Daniele took Biodynamic courses with Adriano Zago, and then began biodynamic practices on the soil, using compost obtained from organic cattle breeding, green manure, biodynamic preparations.
In 2016 we obtained the organic certification.
Our target is to allow the growth and multiplication of soil microorganisms, releasing fundamental nutrients to make the vines healthier and more resistant.
The vinification aims at guaranteeing a typical long-lasting wine with correct organoleptic qualities.
Our wines are Friulano (Blanc de Simon), Malvasia, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Riné (blend), Blanc de Simon Tradition, Pinot Grigio Tradition, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Centenario (Merlot Selection).
In 2023 we received the prize “Snail” by Slow wine 2024 and Top Wine vino slow for the Malvasia 2022.
