Information
- Description
- Located in the heart of the Aubance Valley, just 10 km from Angers, on the Anjou Noir terroirs, the Haute Perche estate extends over 35 hectares of living soil, worked biodynamically.
Haute Perche is a showcase for the Aubance terroir. The gentleness of the river blends with the strength of the schist.
Taken over in 2019 by Thierry Denjean, a wine and terroir lover, it is now Anne-Laure Demaris and her team who are working at the estate to promote sustainable viticulture.
"We produce and vinify grapes for straightforward, organic and biodynamic wines that are subtle and elegant, unique and recognised. The vines are planted around three blocks of rich, unique terroirs, defined by their exposure, subsoil and slope. Each place has its own specific characteristics. So we observe and accompany each plot of vines. We try, improve and make every gesture useful, then obvious."
