Information
- Description
- Domaine de Beaurenard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape has been a family-run estate for eight generations. The Coulons brothers, Daniel and Frédéric, have taken over from Paul and Régine and are striving to sustain tradition. Today Victor and Antonin , Daniel’s sons have joined the estate.
The estate covers 32 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape; 25 hectares in AOC Rasteau , Cru of the Rhône Valley and 6 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône.
In Châteauneuf-du-Pape, we cultivate the « Symphonie of 13 varieties » typical of this AOC, which provide aromatic complexity, strength and balance. The creation of a conservatory with the 13 grape varieties allowed by the appellation, sourced from the estate’s oldest vines, allows us to preserve this precious heritage.
Since 2007, all of our vineyard cultivated organically (Ecocert certified) and even biodynamically (Demeter certified), without synthetic chemicals. This approach is essential for us in order to aim for the excellence of our wines as well as the respect of our terroirs and our environment.
