Martina and Jörg are convinced that wines are born in nature. They are shaped in the vineyard by climate, soil, and the surrounding ecosystem. Both work tirelessly to deepen their understanding of these factors—and, in turn, to refine their organic wines.
To optimally capture and express the natural essence of the vines, the vineyard and its soil must be as vital as possible. For this reason, Martina and Jörg work according to biodynamic principles.
Martina is a curious, adventurous young winemaker and Jörg’s daughter. He is a down-to-earth nature lover who prefers to spend every moment in the “wingert” (vineyard) and is Martina’s father. Together, they form the heart and soul of the family winery, whose strength lies in its unity.
As a team, father and daughter have been able to bring a fresh perspective to the world of wine, experiment together, and develop a shared philosophy. They now pursue this philosophy with full conviction.
