Information
- Description
- Discover Domaine de Montgilet, a family heritage dating back over two centuries, where passion for wine has spanned six generations. Nestled just 10 minutes from the center of Angers, south of the majestic Loire River, our estate in Juigné sur Loire is the jewel of the Côteaux de l'Aubance and Anjou Villages Brissac appellations.
Since 1880, when the vineyard humbly covered one and a half hectares, the Lebreton family has shaped a captivating viticultural history, today lovingly cultivating 70 hectares of vines. We are proud to present three exceptional wine ranges, each representing our dedication to quality and authenticity.
Explore our "Cépage" range, pure single-vineyard wines perfect for aperitifs and social occasions. Dive into our "Plaisir" range, which highlights the emblematic appellations of the Loire. Finally, discover our "Terroir" range, exceptional cuvées from the finest vineyard parcels, revealing the quintessence of our unique terroir and offering an unforgettable experience.
Domaine de Montgilet's vines flourish on exceptional schist terroirs, cultivated according to the traditions of our ancestors: ploughing the soil, weeding, short pruning, and hand harvesting for our noblest cuvées. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our High Environmental Value certification (level 3) since the 2019 harvest, and our transition to organic farming.
Join us in this human adventure, respectful of the environment, where passion and authenticity combine to create fresh, accessible wines. Discover Domaine de Montgilet - a unique winegrowing experience, rooted in history and nurtured by passion.
