Albino Armani: Four hundred years of winegrowing, with infinite passion for the finished product. In the Adige Valley, the history of the Armani family and that of viticulture have been going on together since December 7th, 1607. It is a collective story, which from that moment onwards bears the name of a family. From the constant study of the history and origins of a place and its wines, to researching the local autochthonous varieties, the recent history of the Albino Armani winery stands for respect for the territory and its people. We believe that research is the process necessary if one wishes to improve the land, and create a product which constitutes its identity. Today we continue our quest, imagining an increasingly sustainable future, where the quality of our product is the perfect consequence of knowledge and responsibility.
Poggio dell'Aquila: Poggio dell'Aquila is located 2 km from the town of Montalcino and its vineyards, all of Sangiovese Grosso, are at an altitude of 450 metres. The vineyards planted between 1990 and 2004 eon the south-west side of Montalcino and have an average density of 4500 plants per hectare trained using the Guyot system.
Di Prima: The different natural conditions, the altitude that ranges from 300 to 550 metres, the microclimate favoured by the closeness of Lake Arancio (in Sicily), and to the wood, the temperature range permits to select the vines adapting them to the characteristic of the soil, to produce wines that have a strong and intense personality. A Sicilian family with lots of interests united by a common project: to create a high quality wine from their own grapes.
The vineyards covers 38.00 hectares in three suggestive areas: Pepita Roccarossa, Arancio and Batia.
A landscape full of extraordinary variety of shapes, colours and flavours which you can find in the wines produced by the Di Prima Farm.
