Information
- Description
- Founded on 23 August 1933, Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is a wine cooperative, historically driven by the desire to create something beautiful and good for its territory: Valpolicella. The winery, producer of the first bottle labelled ‘Amarone Extra’ and owner of one of the largest drying facilities in Italy, can count today on more than 240 conferring members, for a total of 850 hectares of vineyards. Of these, around 30% are organically cultivated, a record for Valpolicella Classica. Thanks to continuous investment in human resources and new technologies, it represents an essential source for the Amarone, Appassimento and Ripasso categories. The approach is always that of the producer, who sees quality as the starting point, based on the principles of style recognition and sustainability - environmental, ethical and economic.
