Description: The Vignerons du Castelas is a « family » cooperative located in Rochefort du Gard, in southern Rhone. It was named after the Roman chapel from the XIth century overlooking the village.

The winery was founded in 1952. Since then, several generations of our 42 families of winegrowers have cultivated this beautiful vineyard to offer supple pleasure wines that you can enjoy on any occasion. The winery is managed by a dynamic team of wine-lovers, always careful to adapt to the markets' needs and trends.

The 490 ha of vines whipped by the Mistral wind are cultivated on rolled pebbles in terraces and sandy marl and benefit from a generous sun exposure.

Our AOP Villages Signargues wines are produced on an ancient Rhône bed and take root in one of the most noble terroirs of the area. From this soil, the vine grows elegant fine red wines. The garrigue scrub is omnipresent and conveys its spicy and black berry aromas. We also elaborate fruity dry white and rosé and smooth red Côtes-du-Rhône as well as IGPs of character. We have undertaken organic certification on several of them to take our commitments even one step further.
