Information
- Description
- Domaine Castan, located in Cazouls-les-Béziers, has been committed to sustainable development since 1993. André Castan, nominated Farmer of the Year in 2001, achieved High Environmental Value certification in 2014 and transitioned to organic farming in 2020. Additional regenerative agriculture practices are employed to preserve biodiversity.
The estate spans 40 hectares of vineyards and 80 ares of olive trees, with 14 grape varieties to craft 17 unique cuvées in three distinct ranges: single varietals and terroirs.
Wine tourism is a key focus, with a century-old cellar, a welcoming boutique, a tasting area, and a unique Émile Vignerons museum that offers a journey through local wine history and the vine's seasonal cycles. A guaranteed journey through time.
Brother and sister, Guilhem and Valérie, bring their complementary expertise to the helm of the estate, sharing their passion for the environment, the region, history, and wine.
