Hall B3 - n°1221
Information
- Description
- The Domaine Saladin is located in the Ardèche-Provence area of the
Côtes du Rhône, in the medieval village of Saint Marcel d’Ardèche. The 16
hectares and 13 grape varietals are uniquely characterised by the fact that they
have always been harvested by hand, and cultivated and vinified organically.
At 42 and 44 years old respectively, Elisabeth and Marie-Laurence
Saladin run the family business which has been passed down from fathers to sons
since 1422. The purchase of a newly-planted vineyard in this year began the
family winegrowing tradition, kept alive ever since by twenty subsequent
generations.
The main focus of the sisters is to continuously improve the quality of the wine.
In this spirit, they have created a range of different ‘terroir’ wines.
