Information
- Description
- Vincent Couche produces fine champagnes from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, grown using strictly biodynamic methods since 2008, on 13 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Côte des Bar. (3 hectares of Chardonnay in Montgueux and 12 hectares in Buxeuil, primarily planted to Pinot Noir). Preserving and improving the natural ecosystem by bringing diverse flora and fauna back to the heart of the vineyard is one of Vincent's priorities. This is why, in 2015, he introduced chickens and then sheep to his vines. He continues his steps in favor of biodiversity with agroforestry and plants 250 trees of old varieties of fruit trees (apple trees, medlar trees, plum trees, quince trees, etc.) in the middle of the rows of vines. Vincent is extending his search for biodiversity with the purchase of a forest certified organic by Ecocert in order to create a nature reserve close to the vineyard.
From this quest and his passion are born high quality and very balanced wines.
