- Located at the top of the Monbazillac hillsides, in the very heart of the controlled appellation, Château Haut Bernasse brings together all the assets that allow the production of high-class vintages, thanks to its exceptional exposure. Created at the end of the 19th century, the operation was taken over in 2014 by Romain Claveille, a passionate thirty-year-old winemaker, with the ambition of giving a facelift to this traditional estate. In a committed and ecological approach, the 14 hectares of vines are worked agronomically, with particular attention to soil maintenance and respect for the fauna and flora of the plots. This is how, since 2017, production has been certified in Organic Agriculture. After several harvests, the young winemaker has acquired great mastery of his plot and vinifies with precision to obtain quality products.
At Château Haut Bernasse, we put all our know-how and passion into creating exceptional wines, reflecting our unique terroir of Monbazillac. Our wines, made from vines grown organically, are the result of meticulous work that respects nature. Each vintage is carefully crafted, combining tradition and innovation, to offer an unforgettable sensory experience. Whether our sweet whites, known for their aromatic richness and finesse, or our dry wines, appreciated for their freshness and balance, each bottle tells the story of our estate and our commitment to viticultural excellence.
