- Description
- Élisabeth and Pascal Glas founded Domaine de Poulvarel in 2004 and now own 45 hectares.
Located to the north of the Costières de Nîmes appellation in the Rhône Valley, it benefits from a unique terroir with pebbly soils and gravel terraces near the Pont du Gard, conducive to the cultivation of various grape varieties such as Syrah, dark Grenache and Merlot for the reds, and white Grenache, Roussanne and Rolle for the whites.
The Domaine produces a range of white, rosé and red wines in two appellations, AOP Costières de Nîmes and IGP Coteaux du Gard, each reflecting the quality of its terroir.
Committed to producing wines that express the richness and uniqueness of the region and to environmentally viticulture, the Domain has been certified High Environmental Value 3 since 2014 and Organic since 2024.
