Tasting notes, medals and awards
- Tasting notes
- Smoky bacon notes on the nose with lots of ripe black berries. Very ripe and expressive. / Des notes de graphite, de poivre, une bouche fraîche, aux tannins enjoués, graciles, aux antipodes des corbières d'antan. / Wow, that’s pretty stinky! I’d decant this before drinking it. It’s a gruff saddle-and-sweat-and-barn-animal combo that is robust in flavour, tousled, and with dried, slightly bitter herbs stuffed into every corner and space. Despite the lack of suavity, the tannins are unexpectedly fine-grained. It has integrity. (TC) / Here is a well-balanced, textural and vivid blend of grenache, syrah and mourvedre. Aromas of spiced cherries, raspberries and sweet spices on the nose, following through to a medium body with fine tannins. Velvety texture at the center and a well-shaped mid-palate. Dense, creamy and fruity finish with plenty of spices. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
