Description: Alta Alella is a family-run winery from Catalonia, Spain, located 15 min North of Barcelona in the smallest Appellation of Spain (D.O. Alella: 7 producers, 200 Ha) on an acidic sandy granitic soil ‘Sauló’ bringing freshness and salinity to our wines. Our vineyards are in the “Serralada de Marina” Natural Park by the Mediterranean Sea. The Pujol-Busquets family has been producing certified-organic wines & Cava since the beginning in 1991. Here are some important features about us:

- Wines with appellation D.O Alella and D.O Cava from “Comtats de Barcelona” and “Serra de Mar” regions
- Integral Producer Quality Stamp from D.O Cava which recognizes producers who make their wines 100% on the estate (only 13 wineries out of the 370 in the D.O.
- Long-aged Cava (Cava de Guarda Superior)
- Premium Category in the Cava appellation: “Paraje Calificado” (Grand Cru single vineyard)
- First producers making no-added-sulfite cava in 2006. This cava is now part of our full line of natural wines called ‘Celler de les Aus’
