- Domaine de Cébène: a unique configuration and a breathtaking site!
Made up of small vines surrounded by hedges and forests, aged 15 - 70 years old, acquired in 2007, the Cébène family estate produces local wines, both intense and delicate, in a grandiose panorama.
Pure shale base. One of the great originalities of the Cébène terroir comes from its very deep base, an outcrop of pure shale, combined with the presence of a particularly thin layer of arable soil on the surface.
North exposure. Facing the prevailing wind which crosses the immense forests of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park.
Altitude. Anchored on the northern heights of the AOP Faugères at an altitude of 300 meters, the vines are backed by the nearby Mont du Caroux, which peaks at 1,100m.
This unusual location favors the birth of elegant wines, with a strong identity, of great purity, which let their place of birth speak, far from any artifice.
