- A Sauternes Premier Cru Classé since 1855, Château Climens has earned its nickname ‘Lord of Barsac’ thanks to the incomparable style of its wines, famous for their elegance and freshness of expression. Climens owes this strong personality above all to its unique limestone terroir and its mastery of the king of Barsac grapes: Semillon. The entire estate has been biodynamically farmed since 2010 to preserve nature and local biodiversity. It is currently owned by the Moitry family, who, supported by a dedicated team, continue to produce not only a unique sweet wine but also dry white wines of great purity.
