- Description
- Domaine de l'Amauve is a small, family-run estate of 12-hectare certified organic, located in the south-east of France, in the south of the Rhône Valley, in the village of Séguret (close to the Cru Gigondas).
This is an old family estate. The estate has been cultivated and cared by the different generations. and vines have always been grown here. The grape varieties are traditional. The terroir is mainly marl, clay and limestone.
The wines produced are mainly AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages SEGURET in Red, Rosé and White. The estate also produces VAUCLUSE I.G.P. in Red and Rosé, and soon in White.
In the vineyard, everything is done by hand, and winemaking is traditional, with de-stemmed grapes and long macerations. The wines are rich and concentrated, with great ageing potential.
