- We are a family-owned winery founded in 2001 in Requena, Valencia, committed to creating wines that reflect the unique terroir of our region. Our still wines, under the DO Utiel-Requena designation, are crafted from the native Bobal variety, while our sparkling wines, under the DO Cava designation, are produced with grape varieties such as Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Grenache, giving them a unique complexity and freshness. We are proud to be one of the seven wineries authorized to produce sparkling wines with the DO Cava designation in the municipality of Requena, the only place in the entire province of Valencia where this authentic cava can be made. Since 2020, our winery has been certified organic, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. Simplicity, humility, experience, professionalism, and great perseverance are hallmark values of Dominio de la Vega, where we craft expressive and authentic wines in a spirit of calm.
