Description

Terroir and vine growing
Plots are mainly situated on north slopes on the hills, facing the village.
on clay and limestone soils, with this Mediterranean climate that makes the asset of the BANDOL appellation. This is an advantage that today allows slow maturities and protects the grapes from sunburn in summer.
My will and my approach are to observe nature, respect the soil and enrich it thanks to the planting of plant cover that will be crushed in the spring, no herbicide is used and the BIO Ecocert certification rewards this reflection of a lifetime.
I select the clusters one by one during the harvest always manual and eliminate those that do not correspond to my criteria of maturity

Vinification
Still in this spirit, controlling the temperature, the fermentation starts after a short maceration between the juices and the skins for the rosé and white.
No yeast input is used for the fermentation of red Bandol which, after a few weeks, will be transferred in lightning (large oak barrels) for a period of 18 months.
It is a choice not to filter the red wines, in order to leave all the flavor of these grapes that have been harvested to their perfect maturity.

The wines
Made from Mourvedre, Cinsault, Grenache for rosés, the red Bandol is made with Carignan and these previous varieties.
As for the White, it is the Clairette and the Ugni Blanc that enter into its composition.
