Description
Domaine Daurion is the Sleeping Beauty of Languedoc, awakening to the light of day. A family estate of 60 hectares, located in Caux, near the city of Pézénas. Grown on an ancient volcano, covered with a prehistoric lava flow, the estate's origins date back to the 16th century, but there are also evidences of Roman viticulture.

This heritage has been passed down through several generations, beginning with the very first Chardonay vines of Languedoc in the late 50s. This feature of the domaine gives it a unique expertise in white wines.

Committed to nature and respect for the soil, all the vines have been grown organically since 2020, without herbicides, with a personalized treatment for each plot. The wines are highly distinctive, combining basalt, clay-limestone and Villefranchian terroirs. The grapes are harvested manually or mechanically, and sorted. We use a specific vinification method, inspired by the Loire, to extract all the freshness and suppleness from this land bathed in Occitan sunshine.

Our ethical approach in the vineyard: a commitment to meeting the needs of the plant to produce quality organic grapes. And in the glass: to pass on our values and help people discover Languedoc wine from a different angle.
