Tasting notes
Bet for the rediscovery and the good adaptation of the Pedro Ximénez white variety to the dry and arid Priorat. LA-LLERA is born from mass selection of an old vineyard in the Vila del Lloar. The deeper areas of the Finca Gran were planted, along winding ravines with fertile soils, where the sun on summer afternoons barely. The ravines, the “riverbeds”, form a living crevasse, a vineyards series, narrow and long. PX and Garnacha Blanca exchange their attributes. They are harvested early and fermented together, in concrete vats. After a short aging with slight oxidation, they return to the origin, to the cement. The wine is dense, fragrant, saline and different.
