Tasting notes
It was 1960 when sake rice production started in Sakamoto area under contract between Sakamoto's enthusiastic producers and Fukumitsuya that strived for quality. The aspiring producers worked passionately on the clay soils and then finally achieved organic status through unparalleled skills in growing superb sake rice. This sake is born using this organic sake rice and certified by organic program in Japan, US and EU. With 7 years of aging, this sake is very smooth in your mouth, rich in Umami, and good bitterness. Elegant aroma and body of sake goes well with sophisticated dishes such as gratin of lobstar, sauted fish with cream sauce, grilled steak of beef fillet.
