Information
- Description
- Nestled in a haven of unspoiled nature, the AOP Gadagne unfolds across the foothills near the gates of Avignon.
This land, naturally suited to viticulture, has been a benchmark vineyard of the southern Côtes du Rhône since its inception. Passed down from generation to generation, it stands as a testament not only to the recognition of this renowned terroir but also to the unique history of these lands, shaped by the presence of the Popes in Avignon for two centuries and by Provençal culture, of which Châteauneuf de Gadagne remains a celebrated welcoming land.
The AOP Gadagne was officially designated as a Côtes du Rhône Villages appellation in 2012.
