Information
- Description
- Here's a short presentation of Château de Sannes, a beautiful and hidden vineyard located at the Southern limit of Rhône Valley.
Our vineyard flourishes in the heart of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, a territory predestined for organic farming, classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO.
This terroir, classified as AOP Luberon, is characterized by its stony scree and safre soils producing very fine, structured and complex wines.
Facing South, at an altitude of 350 meters, on the foothills of the Grand Luberon, the Sannes lands are naturally irrigated by very old springs. The altitude and exposure to the wind generate significant thermal amplitudes, favorable to the cultivation of vines.
The 73-hectare estate in one piece around the 17th century Château is shared between nature and crops, with 35 hectares of vines, 320 olive trees and magnificent wooded areas. Our wines are the result of the alliance between an exceptional terroir, unique grape varieties, the Mediterranean sun, all three linked by the genius of the men and women who bring this family estate to life. When the bottle awakens to the light of half-day and sharing, our wines speak of humanity, innovations, friendship and philosophy.
